To Be Young

To be young is to be stupid... to be irrational... to be radical... to be a risk-taker... to crave what's not allowed... to dream without limits... to push your ambition until it touches the sky... to chase the stars both in your dreams, and your reality.


To be young is to make mistakes, and welcome consequences with a smile.

To be young is to laugh at your own silliness, and to let excitement disturb the pace of your breathing.

To be young is to stumble, fall, (and like the song says) pull yourself up, dust yourself off, and start all over again.

To be young is to let your heart slip, break, and recollect all its pieces in order to look for another love!


To be young is to believe that you can do anything at anytime and in any context.

To be young is to fly without wings to horizons that extend beyond your own limits!


To be young is to await a completely unknown future with optimism despite all the depressing realities.


It is never the number of years between this moment and the moment you first saw the light, and it is never the number of white hairs hiding behind dark, or artificially-colored ones.


To be young is to be revolutionary at heart against all that oppresses the humanity in you, or in less-privileged people that you do not necessarily know in person. To demand others' rights and die for these demands.


Yes, to "more experienced" people, youth are stupid and lack experience. But the experience they gained was gained in very different times from ours. And such difference in time is not only calender-related. It is also connected to an entire multilevel context.


I don't mind looking silly, or being judged. That's when I know I'm most probably on the right track.


To be young is to be ready to throw everything behind your back and start from scratch. Not just that, but also to enjoy all the new beginnings.


To be young is to enjoy a rose and not a bouquet. It all depends on intentions, and what the heart wants.
